The Thomsons have been in the Auckland foodservice business since 1982.

This New Zealand owned family business began as a partnership between Noel and Isabel Thomson and their son, David, in 1992,
trading as Thomsons Frozen Foods and Thomsons Bait.
In 1999 the business became a limited company, Thomsons Frozen Foods Limited.
In 2007 Noel and Isabel Thomson retired from the company, leaving David Thomson as the sole Director. Other family members, including David’s nephew Jonathan, continued to be part of the Thomsons Foodservice management team.
In 2009 the company name was changed to Thomsons Foodservice Limited to better reflect the fact that we sell both fresh and frozen food.
